Infusion Therapy

In order to accompany patients requiring intravenous or subcutaneous pharmacological therapies administered at home, Vivisol (in conjunction with experts in the field) has designed a specific range of services. These include services for artificial nutrition, insulin pump therapy, immune therapy, pain therapy and Parkinson’s patients.

Each service involves careful selection of the best possible device by a highly specialised, multidisciplinary team. This is then combined with training for the patient and the caregiver (clinical, nursing or any family members) on how to use the device. Activities for managing the patient on discharge from hospital are also coordinated along with dietary and nursing care for the individual. All geared towards ensuring the move to home treatment is as seamless as possible.
